Brain waves can not only be found in electrophysiology, but make their appearance in neuroanatomy as well. The shapes found in the brain are mostly curvy: from the cortical ribbon, to fibre trajectories, subcortical structures and ventricles, etc. This image develops these curvy structures into a wavy brain image.
