This experiment aims at providing a condensed, 2D representation of the temporal dynamics of brain connectivity. Rows are spatial location in the brain (~3000 regions covering gray matter) and columns are sliding time windows (1 mn long). The colors code for the correlation of temporal activity between the seed region, located in the posterior cingulate cortex, and each one of the target region (positive is reddish, negative is blueish). Regions have been ordered to represent as accurately as possible the spatial structure of the correlations. Data are from a single, not particularly representative subject.
